Quanto custa participar? / How much does it cost to attend?

O evento é gratuito. Alguns itens promocionais, como camisolas e adesivos, e alguns eventos sociais podem ser restritos a participantes registados. Para efetuar o registo, deve fazer login no canto superior direito da página. Depois de fazer login, carregue no seu nome de utilizador (canto superior direito) e, de seguida, selecione o seu perfil no menu. Note que não receberá um e-mail de confirmação.

The event is free to attend. Some swag items, like T-shirts and stickers, and some social events may be estricted to registered attendees. To register you need to login, at the top right of the page. Once logged in, go back to your profile, and select register in the drop-down menu. Please note you will not get a confirmation email.

Onde é que submete a talk para o minidebconf? / Where do you submit a talk for the event?

Primeiro deve fazer login, no canto superior direito da página. Depois de fazer login, carregue no seu nome de utilizador (canto superior direito) e, de seguida, selecione “enviar uma palestra” no menu.

O evento será transmitido ao vivo? / Will the event be livestreamed?

Todas as conversações serão gravadas e libertadas assim que pudermos. Decidimos contra o streaming em direto.

All talks will be recorded, and released as soon as we can. We have decided against live streaming.

Há epaço para divulgar informação (empresas)? / Is there space for booths?

O que significam as categorias de refeição? / What does the meal categories mean?

No formulário de registo, não se encontram disponíves as restrições/opções alimentares comuns. Em vez disso, é questionado quanta assistência necessita para se conseguir alimentar. Temos um apartamento reservado que dispõe de uma cozinha, mas também pedimos orçamentos para almoços pagos. O nosso objetivo é, se os restaurantes não conseguirem servir o que mais gosta/ prefere comer, há uma cozinha disponível. É um evento de pequenas dimensões logo cozinhar em grupo pode resultar! Na experiência da Bernelle, os restaurantes não são muito adequados para boas refeições vegetarianas/vegan, mas servem bastante carne. Pode tornar-se cansativo ao fim de algum tempo. Para quem não está alojado no apartamento, mas gostaria de o utilizar, por favor exponha a situação enviando um email para bernellev [at] gmail [dot] com.

In the registration form, it is not the usual dietary preferences. Instead it asks how much assistance you need to get yourself fed. We have booked an apartment with a kitchen, but we have also requested budget for paid lunches. Our thinking here is that if the restaurants do not offer your preferred cuisine, the kitchen is available to you. It is a small event and so social cooking could really work! In Bernelle’s experience, the restaurants are not very big on good veggies. but really like serving lots of meat. This gets a bit much after a while. For people not staying at the apartment, but want to make use of it, please get in touch to arrange this, by emailing bernellev [at] gmail [dot] com.

Como chegar ao evento? / How to get to the venue?

Estação de metro mais próxima: Estação de metro do Saldanha. A partir do aeroporto, de transportes publicos: Sair do aeroporto e seguir pela direita (ou Sul), descer as escadas rolantes. Depois, comprar um bilhete de metro nas máquinas situadas à esquerda. Passe pelas cancelas e apanhe o metro para o Saldanha (linha vermelha). Siga para oeste, ou siga as placas.

A estação de comboio mais próxima é a estação de Roma-Areeiro, que é uma estação a seguir a Entrecampos (uma das 5 maiores estações ferroviárias de Lisboa). A partir daqui, pode apanhar o metro ou apanhar um autocarro, mas també é possível ir a pé (20min. - 1.3km).

Nearest metro station: Saldanha Metro station.

From the airport, taking public transport: Exit the airport and head right (or South), go down the escalator. Buy a metro ticket at the machines on your left. Go through the turnstiles and take the metro to Saldanha (red line). Head west, or downhill, or there will probably be signs :)

The nearest train station is Roma-Areeiro, which is one station East of Entrecampos, one of Lisbon’s five really big train stations. From here you can navigate the metro station or use bus transport, but it is also a pleasant 20 min (1.3km) walk.
